Sue Zelickson at the Minnesota Monthly Magazing reviewed Saint Pops and Frio Frio as premier artisan popsicle makers here in the Twin Cities. Turns out we are in very good company. Read about it here in Sue's post.
"Frozen treats are a delightfully surprising wedding-day dessert, and local vendors are making delicious varieties and bringing them to venues in innovative ways. Jennifer Helm, owner of St. Pops in St. Paul, makes popsicles with organic sugar and local produce picked in peak season..."
St. Pops is so proud to be a part of the Pop Up Meeting program backed by the city of St. Paul. They handed out over 2500 ice pops this year, which means they heard from over 2500 residents on city issues. This would not have happened through the regular City Hall processes.
Thanks to Amanda Lovelee, one of two Artist in Residence for the City of St. Paul and the creator of the project.
We got picked up in Rick Nelson's column in the Star Tribune as one of the vendors in Taste 50: A celebration of Minnesota farmers markets!
